Working at Cometly means you are helping solve the biggest problem in the digital ad space to date. Due to a variety of privacy and tracking issues, the big ad platforms are no longer able to accurately display ad results to their advertisers. This presents us a major opportunity to provide visibility and accuracy to advertisers.


As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) you’ll be joining an ambitious and growing Sales team. You will be the first point of contact for our potential new clients and will play a critical role in Cometly’s growth by proactively identifying, engaging, and qualifying new opportunities.

You will prospect into both Inbound and Outbound accounts to understand their business problems, identify ways Cometly’s capabilities can help, and facilitate the development of their relationship with Cometly.

You will develop and foster a wide range of technical, analytical, and sales skills. Our goal is to set you up for success as an SDR while providing opportunities for you to grow and advance your career at Cometly.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Developing sales strategies to draw in potential buyers or to solicit new potential customers.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to identify, research and engage with target accounts and key decision makers.
  • Through calls, emails and social outreach, you’ll prospect, educate, qualify and develop leads to create sales-ready opportunities.
  • Creating relationships with customers to identify their potential needs and qualify their interests and viability to drive sales.
  • Use tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn, and Zoominfo to research accounts, identify key contacts, and craft targeted messaging.
  • Be hungry to meet and exceed daily, monthly and quarterly metrics.
  • Participate in team huddles, one to one’s, idea sharing and feedback sessions to continually improve our sales process.
  • Following up with potential customers who expressed interest but did not purchase any goods or services.
  • Be curious and proactively learn our technology to effectively communicate our value proposition with a technical audience.
  • Performing regular follow-up calls or emails and facilitating communication with existing customers to ensure their satisfaction and identify new potential needs.
  • Collaborating with sales executives to ensure the company’s goals and targets are met.


  • Previous experience (Minimum 2 years) in outbound sales or sales development in the B2B software space.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.
  • The ability to be outgoing, with strong communication skills and a passion for problem-solving and relationship-building.
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (HubSpot), prospecting tools (ZoomInfo) and common Google applications (Google sheets, docs, etc.)
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized, with great time management skills and the ability to set, meet and exceed personal goals.
  • Hungry and self-motivated!
