We seek a dynamic leader to develop and lead our Sales & Marketing function to achieve the company’s next stage of growth. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a successful, values-driven organization as a key leader.

About the Role:

The Sales and Marketing Director is a key builder of people and the function. You are an entrepreneurial and hands-on manager who establishes and achieves ambitious goals, capably spans breadth, and goes deep to solve problems.

You build trust and credibility through your alignment with commonFont values, commitment to service leadership and collective success, and demonstrated ability to manage a high performance environment and team that helps our organization win. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the Marketing, Business Development and Solution Sales function
  • Creating opportunities by activating, testing, and refining marketing and outreach strategies and tactics
  • Establishing revenue goals for new logos and new business relationships
  • Achieving goals and accelerating growth through the development of new logos
  • Optimizing sales process and tactics, including by establishing consistent governance, planning and execution cycles, and systems for shared understanding and accountability
  • Upholding a high-performance culture, marked by accountability, continuous improvement, and individual and collective achievement
  • Motivating and providing hands-on assistance, strategic guidance, and direct support throughout the sales cycle to advance and close deals
  • Coaching, mentoring, and managing teammates; creating a positive and accelerating culture for teammate professional growth and development
  • Engaging as a player/coach, with desire to get your hands dirty while building the model for a successful and scalable sales organization
  • Together with your team and other organizational leaders, developing and advancing GTM strategy and impact
  • Serving as a key organizational leader, helping to support the development of our commercial mindset and capabilities across our organization

About You:

You are a passionate Sales leader with a commitment to leading teams to achieve exceptional results in a fast-paced, evolving, and high-performance environment. You set high standards for yourself and your teams, and are entrepreneurial, charismatic, and driven to make an impact. You are empathetic and care deeply about service to other people.

  • 10+ years professional experience in either technical services, sales, or CX
  • Experience successfully leading and managing a sales team
  • General manager who can go both broad and deep with ability to span disciplines
  • B2B enterprise sales experience
  • Strong familiarity with services that support and add value to enterprise software
  • Well-developed consultative sales approach along with experience with process and methodology
  • Exposure to CX/ EX methodologies is a plus. Curiosity and initiative to learn is a must.
  • Flourishes working in a “startup” environment, with desire to get your hands dirty and build a foundation for growth
  • Engages others with empathy, service-orientation, and focus on company success
  • Eager to get on-site with clients and partners
