Chief Revenue Officer
We are seeking a dynamic and execution-focused Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to lead our global revenue strategy. Unlike traditional sales-focused roles, this position is dedicated to the full lifecycle of the customer relationship: winning, growing, and retaining high-value accounts. You will be responsible for driving a disciplined, structured approach to revenue generation while ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and stability.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Work closely with Regional Sales Directors and country teams through a dotted-line reporting structure to align global goals with diverse regional operations.
- Market Analysis: Drive a fundamental change in how regions operate by analyzing Total Market and Total Addressable Market (TAM) to identify missed opportunities and build a robust pipeline.
- Standardisation & Performance: Standardise organisational models and compensation structures across highly varied global regions to drive performance with a broader, more ambitious mindset.
- Retention Excellence: Implement and lead a rigorous retention plan. You will ensure that customer feedback is acted upon promptly, utilising our existing tools and people to prevent account loss.
- Operational Execution: Focus on the “get and grow” philosophy while maintaining a visible presence in the field to motivate teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is required, with an MBA or Master’s degree frequently preferred.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive senior experience in not just sales, but in the successful acquisition, growth, and retention of major accounts for a large multi-national company with a proven track record of driving significant revenue growth in a B2B business
- Adaptability: Ability to navigate and lead within diverse regional structures and challenges, from broad-scope regions to narrower, focused markets like the UK.
- Analytical Thinking: The ability to leverage data analytics and AI-driven insights to make informed decisions and identify revenue gaps.
- Leadership & Communication: Excellent leadership, people management, and communication skills to inspire cross-functional teams and effectively report results to the senior leadership team.
- Strategic Vision: Strong strategic thinking with the ability to translate market trends and data into actionable plans for growth and market expansion.
