Our client, a Fortune 500 SaaS business (you’ve likely heard of them) is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to partner closely with senior sales leadership and help drive high-velocity growth across the business in ANZ. This role is ideal for a commercially minded operations professional who thrives on data, enjoys influencing go-to-market strategy, and wants to work at the centre of a fast-paced, high-performing sales organisation.

You’ll work closely with a Director of Sales and broader Sales Operations teams to uncover insights, optimise performance, and support strategic decision-making across Australia and New Zealand, with exposure to APAC and global stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Planning

  • Partner with Sales leadership to shape go-to-market strategy through data-driven insights and opportunity identification.
  • Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles for aligned DX sales teams, collaborating with ANZ, APAC, and global stakeholders.
  • Facilitate annual quota setting and territory planning in partnership with international operations teams.

Data Analysis & Performance Insights

  • Perform deep analysis of sales, pipeline, revenue, and product data to identify trends, gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Simplify and present complex data to non-technical stakeholders to support decision-making.
  • Build and deliver seller performance reporting, dashboards, and insights.

Business Operations & Forecasting

  • Support the day-to-day running of the sales business alongside Sales Ops leadership.
  • Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast and business review processes, including pipeline validation and action planning.
  • Provide input into sales plays and operational initiatives across key strategic verticals.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Enablement

  • Build strong, trusted relationships across Sales, Operations, Finance, and global teams.
  • Act as a change agent, supporting new and innovative approaches within the ANZ sales organisation.
  • Share local best practice and provide guidance to global teams based on ANZ execution.

About You

  • 5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related analytical role.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Advanced data capability, including sophisticated Excel skills; experience with SQL, data warehouses, and Power BI preferred.
  • Proven ability to analyse, manipulate, and translate large data sets into clear insights.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable working in a highly matrixed, fast-paced, and growth-focused environment.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and passionate about supporting sales teams and customers.
