About Us: We are a 30+ year old SaaS technology company with a strategic vision to grow revenue targeting the construction industry. We are seeking a dynamic Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to join our leadership team and drive our revenue growth from $5M to $30M. We are looking for someone from a small company (we are about 50 people now, looking to triple our size) who has done this, or from a larger company ready for the CRO role as a next career move.

Position Overview: The Chief Revenue Officer will be responsible for overseeing all revenue-generating activities within the company. This includes developing and executing sales and marketing strategies, building and leading high-performing teams, and driving sustainable growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling SaaS companies and creating robust sales and marketing capabilities from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth from $5M to $30M.
  • Sales Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear goals, provide coaching, and ensure the team meets or exceeds targets.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and support sales efforts. There is no marketing now, this is a greenfield!
  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and channels to expand the customer base.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize sales and marketing strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Technology and Product teams to ensure alignment and support for revenue goals.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to proactively adjust strategies.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a CRO or in a senior revenue leadership role within a SaaS company.
  • Experience in a small SaaS company or startup as the CRO or a larger company ready for the CRO as next career step.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a huge plus.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling revenue from $5M up, our goal is to $30M or more.
  • Strong background in building and leading sales and marketing teams and functions from scratch.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using data and analytics to drive decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
