The Secondary Marketing Analyst supports the Capital Markets team by overseeing the pricing, locking, hedging, and sale of mortgage loans into the secondary market. This role requires strong analytical skills, sharp attention to detail, and a deep understanding of mortgage-backed securities (MBS), loan pricing, investor guidelines, market execution, and lock desk operations.

Requirements

  • Understanding of mortgage secondary markets, investor guidelines, and loan sale processes.
  • Experience with pricing engines such as Optimal Blue.
  • Familiarity with Encompass LOS and integration for lock and delivery functions.
  • Knowledge of pipeline hedging, best execution strategies, and investor delivery methods.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • High attention to detail and organizational precision.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain data integrity across multiple systems and reports.
  • Implement and refine operational processes for greater efficiency.
