Role Descriptions & Responsibilities

As a Sales Operations Specialist, you would be responsible for optimizing sales processes, supporting field sales, maintaining data integrity, and collaborating across functional teams on strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills, thrives on problem solving, and working closely with sales leadership to improve performance, reporting, and overall efficiencies.

Forecasting & Pipeline Support

  • Collect, consolidate, and update weekly forecast and pipeline data across all revenue types (Current Quarter + 5 Rolling Quarters).
  • Maintain accuracy of backlog revenue, bookings, revenue, and pipeline opportunities in Salesforce and MCE.
  • Track opportunity updates (close dates, deal size, offers, license start dates) and ensure timely data entry.
  • Support sales teams by flagging missing or inconsistent pipeline data.

Sales Data & Analytics

  • Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, win rates, deal cycle times, and pipeline health.
  • Provide routine reporting and trend analysis to Sales Management.
  • Monitor renewals dashboard and alert sales teams on upcoming expirations or risks.
  • Support preparation of sales performance reports for leadership reviews.

Territory & Account Data Management

  • Update and manage account lists, territory assignments, and client information in Salesforce.
  • Ensure consistency of client master data across systems.

Sales Planning & Offers (Support)

  • Assist in the creation and tracking of offers in collaboration with deal desk and finance teams.
  • Maintain documentation of sales plans, client lists, and renewal schedules.
  • Track win/loss ratios and offer acceptance data, summarizing insights for sales leadership.

Compensation & Quota Tracking (Support)

  • Assist with quota tracking and achievement reporting.
  • Help validate payout calculations based on accurate sales performance data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Business, Economics, Analytics, or related field). MBA is a plus
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
  • High proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • High interest in learning CRM systems (Salesforce experience an advantage).
  • Familiarity with SaaS (Software as a Service) industry is a plus
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly and work in a cross functional team environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $66,000 CAD and $85,000 CAD, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
