Deloitte is seeking a Data Engineer Consultant with a focus on Databricks to join their team in Thessaloniki. The successful candidate will be involved in the development and optimization of data pipelines and data architectures for the efficient analysis and processing of large volumes of data.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, (Business) Informatics, (Business) Engineering, Economics with an IT focus, or comparable courses of study.
Strong hands-on experience administering and managing Databricks environments.
Ability to configure and govern data access and metadata management across external cloud storage locations.

Proficient in managing users, groups, permissions, clusters, and workspace resources.
Skilled in managing metadata repositories, schemas, tables, and access controls.
Experience with configuring and optimising serverless compute resources in Databricks.

Capability to develop, deploy, or manage custom applications or integrations within the Databricks ecosystem.
