BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to work on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia, combining manufacturing experience with data science for nuclear product research and development.
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with a focus in data science, machine learning, and/or artificial intelligence
- A minimum of 10 years of experience is required, however, an advanced degree may substitute for some years of experience
- Experience in statistical analysis, signal processing and/or computer vision is strongly desired
- Must demonstrate teamwork, problem solving, and communication skills
- Must be a U.S. citizen with no dual citizenship
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) clearance
