Engineer II (Backend) – Vendor Growth

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design and develop reliable backend systems used by millions of users while collaborating with product, data, and frontend teams to deliver impactful solutions. The role involves building scalable services and APIs, improving system performance, and participating in code reviews and debugging.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience building backend systems in production environments
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Java or Go (Golang)
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
• Experience designing API-based services and working with distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with microservices architectures and event-driven systems
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, or similar
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or modern cloud-native infrastructure
