Senior Data Engineer | Cloud & Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Cloud & Engineering practice in Central Europe. The candidate will be responsible for delivering a new data platform and building a highly scalable and secure platform that will replace the currently used Data Warehouse and ETL/ELT pipelines.

Requirements

  • Must have experience with Data integration / Data migration practices
  • Support and extend the existing data ingestion and transformation pipelines
  • Transfer data from data warehouse and SQL database to Databricks or Bigquery
  • Design and implement Bronze / Silver / Gold data layers
  • Resolve challenges related to replication and permission constraints
  • Support ingestion of SAS data, currently used in Risk contexts (SAS acting as ETL)
  • Transform SAS databases / files and load them into Databricks or BigQuery
  • Work with CDC (Change Data Capture) integration patterns
  • Support and optimize Databricks or BigQuery data models and transformations
  • Ensure data readiness for Power BI consumption
