Director, External Innovation, Obesity & Growth TAs

AbbVie is seeking a Director, External Innovation, Obesity & Growth TAs to lead the scientific/technical assessment of partnering opportunities and source innovative assets and platforms supporting AbbVie’s ambitions on the global stage in the areas of obesity, its related diseases, and other growth TAs.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of drug development or Business Development work experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries required
• Master or Ph.D. degree in related scientific field
• Strong Project management/ leadership skills to lead/manage multifunctional teams to evaluate target opportunities, and produce high quality analyses
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a 0 to 1 environment and quickly build up network and collaborate with key stakeholders/potential partners internal and externally
