Director of Supplier Growth job at ChemPoint: lead the Supplier Development team, develop strategy, and provide leadership to engage current and potential suppliers on ChemPoint’s value proposition.

Requirements

  • Lead the Supplier Development team to build the positioning of ChemPoint value propositions for supplier partners
  • Sell ChemPoint expertise to suppliers
  • Oversee supplier pipeline that results in a regular stream of deals, representing additional business for ChemPoint
  • Leads supplier interactions to advance strategic alliances, attain new business, and leverages relationships to expand partnerships into new product lines, geographies and customer segments
  • Creates sales strategies and plans to effectively move opportunities forward
  • Lead in development of branding and corporate identity initiatives
  • Establish ChemPoint brand perception for customers and suppliers
  • Orchestrates Supplier interactions with others on the ChemPoint team
  • Develop processes that allow supplier development to scale as the business scales
  • Coordinate with Innovation Team on new technologies and platforms to build ChemPoint product offerings to suppliers and customers
  • Stays abreast of industry & global trends, exhibiting versatility in developing and maintaining business relationships, and clearly and succinctly conveying ideas and concepts via all modes of communication
  • Possesses insight to the key-drivers in the industry and initiates action with suppliers to uncover needs & product-line opportunities in order to drive toward commitment; negotiates NDA’s, contracts and Product Riders within area of responsibility
