Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Commercial SME with deep expertise in sales operations functions within the life sciences domain. This is a strategic, non-technical role requiring direct experience with targeting, field force alignment, CRM, and incentive compensation processes.
Position
Domain Consultant specializing in Sales Operations Strategy Alignment, Targeting, Roster Management, and Incentive Compensation.
Responsibilities
- Lead targeting initiatives to equip sales teams with tools, training, and resources.
- Design and manage sales territory alignments and organizational structures.
- Oversee CRM systems for customer management and reporting.
- Perform sub-national analytics and present insights using data visualization tools.
- Drive field enablement strategies in line with commercial objectives.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance within the commercial operations landscape.
- Translate commercial strategies into data-driven operational plans.
Requirement Qualifications
- 8 10 years of experience in life sciences commercial operations.
- Deep domain knowledge in Pharma Sales Operations: targeting, segmentation, alignment, and incentive compensation (IC).
- Hands-on experience with pharma data sources: IQVIA, Symphony Health, IMS, SAP, Compass, Veeva, Model N, Atlas.
- Familiarity with Customer/Product MDM and field force management.
- Proficient with tools and platforms including:
- Data & Analytics: Databricks, Alteryx, Informatica, Tableau, Cognos, R, Python
- CRM & Enablement: Salesforce CRM, Model N, Veeva
- Strong skills in data quality, sub-national analytics, and commercial data governance.
Additional Information
- Onsite role Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Bay Area, CA.
- Non-technical role Candidates must have strong domain knowledge, not hands-on development expertise.
