Business Development Manager

Eastman is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives in the extrusion coating segment, focusing on packaging and paper coating markets. The ideal candidate is a strategic, commercially driven professional with 5-10 years of experience in sales and business development.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required; Master’s or PhD preferred, ideally in business, chemical engineering, materials science, or related fields.
• 5-10 years of progressive sales and business development experience, preferably in extrusion coating, specialty chemicals, packaging materials, or related industries.
• Strong technical knowledge of extrusion coating technologies and familiarity with packaging and paper coating markets.
• Proven ability in market/customer strategy, competitive analysis, and sales planning.
• Proficiency with Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM and sales tools.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with a track record of managing complex sales cycles.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively (+60%) for customer meetings, trade shows, training, and global events.
