Eaton is seeking a Lead Industrial Outside Sales Engineer to join their ES AMER NAS division. The successful candidate will reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN and work on a hybrid basis. The role involves building and owning relationships with key customers and channel partners, learning and understanding business models, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to provide customer-centric solutions.
Requirements
- Reside within 50 miles of Indianapolis, IN
- General knowledge of Eaton electrical product and service capabilities
- Knowledge of sales process and value-added sales techniques
- Experience with preparing sales proposals that meet customer expectations
- Contract management experience
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to put together a bill of material and pricing for moderate electrical systems applications
- Ability to build trust and relationships with various types of people
- Ability to anticipate and be proactive on customer needs
- Robust presentation, training and communications skills
- Bachelor’s degree with five (5) years in a technical or commercial field, an Associate’s degree with seven (7) years in a technical or commercial field or a high school diploma with nine (9) years in a technical or commercial field will be considered
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future
- Possess a valid driver’s license
