Sales Operations Specialist
Emerald Transportation Solutions seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Sales Operations Specialist to join our sales department. The Sales Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team, optimizing sales processes, and contributing to the overall success of our sales organization. In this role, you will manage the processes, administration, and operational support that drives our sales team’s functionality and helps them meet and exceed their target. To be successful in this role, you should have strong time management and organizational skills. You should also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining and optimizing sales processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, and sales pipeline management, to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Answer customer inquiries, schedule meetings, and sales appointments, and follow up with customers about their order status.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure timely and accurate data entry into the CRM system and other sales-related tools.
- Assist in maintaining the CRM system and other sales-related databases, ensuring accurate and reliable sales reporting and analysis data.
- Track all after-sales execution activities all the way to client delivery.
- Manage customer accounts, follow up with customers for administrative purposes, and provide troubleshooting assistance for sales orders, account status, and other issues.
- Assist in analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for process improvements and sales performance enhancements.
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insight into sales metrics, forecasts, and pipeline management.
- Support ad-hoc projects related to sales process optimization, system implementations, and operational enhancements.
- Process orders in a timely manner, process requests for rush orders, and review pending orders and customer requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Optimize sales processes and workflows to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
- Identify and address issues related to sales operations and propose solutions for continuous improvement.
- Develop comprehensive sales performance dashboards and reports to provide actionable insight for sales leadership and senior management.
- Ability to travel as required (20%).
- Other duties as assigned.

Job Skills and Requirements
- Associates Degree in business, business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Three years of Sales Operations, sales support, or a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data.
- Proven track record of success in driving sales operations, sales strategy, and revenue growth.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process optimization and efficiency.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong analytic skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools to monitor and measure sales performance metrics.
- Experience developing and maintaining comprehensive sales performance dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide senior management and sales leadership actionable insight.
- Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Sales Cloud knowledge preferred (certification is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong Software skills, including using Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
