Director, US Government Business Development

Director, U.S. Government Business Development for a fast-growing space technology company transforming Earth observation data access and use. Building a team to expand impact across the U.S. Government sector, driving U.S. defense and intelligence business development, pipeline creation, capture strategy, and contract execution.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience selling geospatial, space, ISR, or defense technology into U.S. Department of Defense or Intelligence Community customers
  • Direct ownership of pipeline growth and account expansion
  • Active TS clearance required, TS/SCI strongly preferred
  • Proven experience shaping and closing multi-year U.S. Government contracts
  • Strong working knowledge of FAR-based contracts, OTAs, BAAs, CSOs, and IDIQ vehicles
  • Experience transitioning pilot programs into sustained funding
  • Executive presence with senior officers and civilian leaders, combined with credibility at operator and analyst level
  • Ability to translate mission capability gaps into executable capture strategies
  • Willingness to travel regularly across CONUS and OCONUS for exercises and field engagements

Benefits

  • Base salary: $150,000 to $170,000
  • On-target earnings: $250,000 to $290,000
