Data Analyst II

We are seeking a Data Analyst II to join our growing Data organization in the Financial Analytics and Reporting team. As a Data Analyst II – Financial Reporting you will serve as a key contributor in ensuring Fanatics Betting & Gaming meets all financial reporting requirements including data reconciliations, revenue metric creation, and core business reporting.

Requirements

  • Understand, interpret, and document financial reporting requirements for each U.S. state where FBG operates.
  • Build, validate, and deliver financial reports and data extracts to meet book close deadlines.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to validate data quality and reconcile reporting discrepancies.
  • Partner with Finance and Analytics Engineering to ensure reporting logic, schema, and ETL processes reflect accurate and compliant data.
  • Investigate and resolve data variances or reporting issues quickly and accurately.
  • Support audits, reviews, and data validation efforts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain documentation outlining data definitions, reporting logic, and controls.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance data accuracy, efficiency, and automation in the reporting process.
  • Work independently to manage priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
