Fanatics is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance Technology to support the FP&A and Controllership teams. This role involves providing financial leadership, leveraging data & analytics to automate tasks and improve financial analysis, and scaling automation processes within the accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and experience with technology platforms and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 10+ years of accounting experience (public and private experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
- Experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Databricks)
- AI exposure (ML, GPT, cloud ML platforms, or ERP systems)
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion)
- SEC experience (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (VBA, Excel)
- SEC certification (preferred)
