Director, Accounting and Finance Transformation & Analytics

Fanatics is seeking a Director of Accounting and Finance Technology to support the FP&A and Controllership teams. This role involves providing financial leadership, leveraging data & analytics to automate tasks and improve financial analysis, and scaling automation processes within the accounting and finance functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP and experience with technology platforms and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 10+ years of accounting experience (public and private experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and internal controls
• Experience with data warehousing tools (Snowflake, Databricks)
• AI exposure (ML, GPT, cloud ML platforms, or ERP systems)
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion)
• SEC experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (VBA, Excel)
• SEC certification (preferred)
