Staff Data Engineer

FastSpring is seeking a Staff Data Engineer to lead the design and construction of a next-generation data warehouse, responsible for real-time data ingestion, stream processing, and technical leadership. The role requires 5+ years of data engineering experience in a high-growth SaaS environment, with expertise in message brokers, streaming platforms, and data transformation tools.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in a high-growth SaaS environment
• Expert-level experience with message brokers and streaming platforms
• Proficiency with real-time and batch transformation tools
• Deep architectural knowledge of Snowflake
• Strong understanding of schemas and data pipelines
• Mastery of SQL and Python
• Proven experience designing and maintaining Data APIs
