Role Overview
Join Multisorb Technologies as a Sales Account Manager (Food) to generate new business revenue across the case-ready and packaged food sectors. The primary focus of this role is generating new business while executing effective account management to enable organic growth of existing accounts.
What You Will Do
Substantially grow sales of products & services to current and potential Food customers within assigned region. Identify, develop and follow-up on new leads, prospects & referrals resulting from marketing activities.

The Sales Account Manager will work with the support of team members to achieve targeted growth in sales to new and existing customers through direct and distributed sales channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and be able to work and communicate effectively with Operations, Engineering, R&D, Customer Service, and Sales Management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in food packaging, food science or business
- 1 year minimum of proven sales experience, preferred focus on selling into food and packaging sectors
- Knowledge of Food processors, distributors, customers, and applications highly desired
- Solid experience in working with national and regional Food processors
- Experience with CRM – Salesforce.com a plus
- Ability to persuade and influence others
- Strong communication and writing skills required
