The Financial Analyst will provide budgeting and analytical support to Southern Company Services organizations and affiliates by reviewing financial transactions and reporting to management. The position will coordinate data gathering and analysis, provide counsel and planning, and establish effective relationships with business partners.
Requirements
- Develop and communicate budgets and financial reporting
- Analyze data and communicate financial status
- Prepare monthly variance reporting and comprehensive analysis
- Provide guidance on accounting policies and compliance
- Consolidate reporting for roll up and management
- Gather data and analyze periodic cost projections and budget data
- Establish and maintain effective relationships and communications with business unit and project managers
