As a Data Engineer, Pro360 Product Group, you will work on delivering enterprise data services, modern business intelligence, and advanced analytics solutions that power Ford Pro. This is a fast-paced and highly impactful role that requires strong technical expertise in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements
- Develop EL, ELT, and ETL pipelines to make data available in BigQuery for Salesforce CRM, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Marketing Analytics, and other technology teams.
- Work with both on-premises data sources such as Hadoop and SQL Server, as well as cloud-native platforms such as GCP, to understand business rules and data models and build scalable data pipelines.
- Design and implement data ingestion and transformation solutions using GCP services such as Dataflow, Data Fusion, DataProc, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.
- Provision and manage data products using BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, APIs, and other cloud-based services.
- Build cloud-native services and APIs to support and expose data-driven solutions.
- Partner closely with data scientists and analytics teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data for impactful business solutions.
- Design, build, and launch shared data services for internal and external developer communities.
- Create scalable, reliable, and fault-tolerant data pipelines while selecting the right tools and technologies for each use case.
- Monitor, optimize, and manage data pipelines to meet operational, performance, and scalability requirements.
- Provide technical and strategic guidance to stakeholders on data transformation initiatives and help the organization better understand and leverage enterprise data.
