FP&A Analyst | Bankrate

FP&A Analyst will apply modern data management and modeling techniques to improve forecast capabilities and automate financial reporting. The role will transform raw data into a strategic asset, accelerating decision cycles and institutionalizing a rigorous, data-driven culture at Bankrate.

Requirements

• 1–2 years in FP&A, accounting, or finance operations
• Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Accounting, or similar study with emphasis on Statistics or Data Analytics
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups/index-match, pivots, basic scenario modeling)
• Comfort with platforms typically leveraged for statistical models (e.g., R, Python, etc.)
• Comfort with BI/FP&A tools (e.g., Workday/Adaptive, Tableau/Power BI/Looker)
• Solid grasp of financial statements and P&L mechanics
• Attention to detail and ownership mindset
• Clear communicator who can explain the “why” behind the numbers
