Role Overview
An Inbound Business Development Representative (BDR) is the first point of contact for prospective customers interested in solutions. This role is crucial for qualifying Marketing Qualified Contacts (MQCs) and scheduling appointments for Account Executives (AEs).
What You Will Do
Engage with inbound leads via chat, email, and phone calls to establish rapport and qualify them. Schedule qualified contacts to meet with Account Executives for discovery calls. Utilize and update information in our CRM system to ensure metrics and dashboards are kept current.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Successful BDRs will have their eye on both volume and quality of MQCs. The position is considered an entry-level role within the sales organization and requires disciplined work ethic, strong communication and relationship-building skills to understand potential customers’ needs and align them with offerings.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- 1+ years of experience in customer-facing, pre-sales or sales oriented role
- Experience in a call center, customer service, or chat support
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
