Data Engineer role to design and scale enterprise-grade data warehouse architecture and governance systems for a rapidly expanding global consumer internet platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong hands-on experience in data warehouse development
- Deep understanding of the full data lifecycle, including data integration, data modeling, and data serving/consumption layers
- Strong understanding of core data management and governance principles, including data governance frameworks, data standards, enterprise data modeling, metadata management, and master data management (MDM)
- Strong proficiency in big data ecosystem technologies, including Hive, Kafka, Spark, Flink, and HBase
- Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration skills
- Strong logical thinking and ability to solve complex problems
- Ability to work effectively in an English-speaking environment (written and spoken)
- Comfortable collaborating with global teams
