Product Marketing Manager

Fullbay is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join the Marketing team. As the leader in the heavy-duty repair shop management space, you’ll lead the strategy of the Product Marketing function, including its core Fullbay offering, Dieselmatic marketing services, and additional products and services.

You’ll be tasked with owning the market positioning, sales enablement, go-to-market strategy, and more, to help Fullbay’s continued growth.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Be an industry expert in the commercial repair software industry and continually monitor changes, trends, and best practices.
  • Conduct market research to understand the industry landscape, including interviewing customers and prospects to understand pain points as well as value derived from products and features.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new products, features, and services.
  • Work closely with the Product team to understand the development roadmap, how the features are differentiated within the market, and translate into product positioning and messaging.
  • Create engaging marketing collateral for both internal and external audiences to help educate the value of Fullbay and Dieselmatic products and services.
  • Conduct competitive research, analysis, and intelligence gathering to maintain a current view of the market’s status and developing trends.
  • Develop relationships across multiple departments in order to provide educational materials and sales enablement tools.
  • Measure and report on key metrics associated with product and feature launches, identifying the impact of your work from educating and promoting both internally and externally.
  • Maintain standardized messaging for the entire company to use around common questions, products, features, and services.
  • Market the marketing by managing monthly internal company communications around departmental projects and updates.

Minimum Education & Work Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Marketing) required (or we may consider equivalent experience with demonstrated ability).
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in Product Marketing with a track record of successfully launching and marketing products and features.

Preferred:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
  • Familiarity with freight and transportation industries.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and think strategically.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient understanding of Google Suite and project management tools.
  • Strong project management and time management capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Guru is a plus.
  • Data-driven decision making with the ability and desire to think creatively and solve complex problems.
  • Ability to develop goals and metrics related to products and projects with the ability to report on them consistently.

  • Perform work primarily in a temperature-controlled office environment
  • Sit for long periods of time (duration of work shift 8-10 hours)
  • Use a computer, phone, copier and other office equipment consistently throughout the course of a work day (8-10 hours)
  • Lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds on occasion
  • Walk 20% of the time, stand 20% of the time and sit 60% of the time while performing duties in this job.
  • Handle exposure to weather conditions prevalent at the time, which may include warm, hot, or cold temperatures
  • Travel for business purposes on occasion up to 25%
