Marketing Manager (Coal Vessel Survey)

We are looking for a Manager – Marketing (Coal Vessel Survey) to drive business growth for coal vessel survey, draft survey, and cargo inspection services across Queensland’s major coal export ports.

Requirements

• Business Development: Secure vessel nominations, build strategic relationships with miners, traders, and shipping companies
• Key Account Management: Build and manage relationships with coal mining companies, export terminals, and logistics operators
• Port-Based Marketing & Vessel Tracking: Track daily vessel line-ups and shipping schedules, coordinate with agents and terminals
• Tendering, Contracts & Commercial Strategy: Monitor tenders, prepare techno-commercial proposals, negotiate long-term rate contracts
• Market Intelligence: Analyse coal export trends, track competitor activity in marine survey and inspection services
• Operations Coordination: Coordinate with marine surveyors, ensure 24/7 manpower availability for vessel surveys
• Branding & Industry Representation: Represent the company at coal, mining, and maritime forums, conduct technical presentations to miners and exporters
