POSITION DESCRIPTION
Role / Position Title – Sales Operations Associate
Department/Function – Sales / Operations
Country – Canada
Region / City (within Country) – Toronto
Hours – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. in office 3-5 days per week
POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for supporting the Canadian business in several different functions. These include working closely with Sales to provide Supply Chain updates to Demand Planning in the US as well as performing all administrative Sales tasks and coordinating office operations. This position will also provide Customer related background for business-making decisions.
OVERALL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide product launch support, populate PIF’s, Innomar and Customer set-up forms
- Ensure product specs provided from Production are accurate, co-ordinate product photographs and develop applicable sales aids
- Identify and complete Retail and Hospital RFPs for submission
- Track sales for all new launches and promotional programs
- Work with Director of Sales and Marketing to manage Trade Shows and Promotional Budget
- Monitor Inventory at Innomar and coordinate inventory planning with US Demand Planning Team
- Review Sales Forecasts monthly with the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Review all product launches and promotional sales programs with the Director of Sales and Marketing
- Post all Glenmark shortages on Health Canada Drug Shortages website
- Analyze and assess supply shortages, apply applicable allocations to mitigate MCS penalties
- Review and process shortage reports to ensure accuracy
- Monitor H.C. Drug Shortages website for product opportunities and increase in sales volume
- Update and distribute Price Lists to Customers
- Prepare all Listing Forms for new and existing products with Customers and Innomar
- Manage obsolescence process
- Undertake special projects when needed (i.e. Probus/Innomar comparison)
- Coordinate profitability of new listings/programs/RFPs with Sales and Finance
- Prepare paperwork for all claims and invoices for all departments
- Maintain office supplies, manage mail and courier process
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Education
- University Degree (Business or Science Degree Preferred)
Experience
- Some knowledge and experience in Canadian Pharmaceutical market preferred
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing several projects
Knowledge and Skills (Functional / Technical)
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks at the same time with a positive attitude
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel and Word
- Some knowledge and experience in Sales (Pharmaceutical preferred)
- Ability to travel and at times work outside of traditional business hours
Physical demands and abilities
- The incumbent typically works in an office environment and uses a computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed to perform duties.
- The noise level in the work environment is typical of that of an office
- Incumbent may encounter frequent interruptions throughout the work day.
- The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to use repetitive hand motion, handle or feel, and to stand, walk, reach, bend or lift up to 20 pounds
