Who we’re looking for:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Partnerships to drive and manage our strategic alliance and channel relationships with global consulting, system integration, and technology partners to join us in our London office. This role will be pivotal in driving growth, expanding our market reach, and enhancing our product and service offerings through effective partnership management.

**The position is hybrid (in London) and requires commuting to the office a few days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, develop, manage, and drive global partnerships with consulting, SI, and technology partners to drive business growth and expand market presence
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a select set of partners, driving joint activities and ensuring mutual success
  • Driving and achieving partner channel sales targets by engaging partners in sales opportunity generation, pipeline management, and deal closure, while collaborating with Gloat’s Sales team to identify sales opportunities that drive joint sales activities with partners
  • Work with partners to develop joint GTM and sales plays that leverage partner global presence and field teams across Gloat’s key markets
  • Develop strong executive relationships and champions within partner organizations. Develop a broad set of relationships across the partner in multiple geographies and business areas
  • Ensure partners are fully informed on all relevant Gloat initiatives, activities, and product/solution developments through regular updates and enablement
  • Foster collaboration between partners and internal Gloat teams, including sales, marketing, product, and customer success
  • Drive quarterly and annual progress against partnership goals, engaging both internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the lifecycle of partner contracts, including initiation, renewals and amendments
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform partnership strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of alliance management, partner development, or channel sales experience required
  • Quantifiable record of success in managing global strategic partners for an enterprise software or SaaS company
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, enterprise-focused global start-up environment
  • Experience in HR Tech preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Understanding of complex enterprise sales processes, including consensus building, pricing, negotiation, broad relationship development, and strategic negotiation
  • Proven ability to focus and motivate internal and external teams to deliver agreed-upon goals
  • Ability to manage tactical, day-to-day items while making steady progress on strategic initiatives
  • Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience working with globally dispersed teams, with strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must be from London area and able to commute to the office a few times a week
