Data Scientist – Portfolio Analytics & AI Innovation

Globe Telecom is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Credit Risk Management & Finance AI Department. The role involves driving data-driven insights and developing advanced machine learning solutions to impact portfolio performance and business strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming with strong experience in data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and deep learning architectures
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques for presenting complex analytical results
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data warehousing concepts
• Demonstrated eagerness to learn and adopt new techniques in deep learning and artificial intelligence
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication skills with ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Self-motivated individual who takes initiative and drives projects to completion
• Collaborative mindset with experience working in cross-functional teams
