Analytics Engineer

Goodr is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with database architecture, DaaS, or analytics engineering pipelines, and proficiency in SQL. The role involves designing and building robust data models, maintaining the health and security of the data warehouse, and communicating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Design and build robust data models in our data warehouse (DWH) under guidance from senior team members so that our analyst team can build reports with ease
• Assist in maintaining the health, organization, and security of our DWH and corresponding integrations
• Optimize efficiency and costs based on system uptime, source system integrations, and refresh rates
• Ensure database design is optimized for both front-end and back-end users
• Respond to and troubleshoot user-reported database errors in a timely manner
• Draft, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation related to database configurations, procedures, and best practices
• Support trend analysis and system capacity planning
• Implement and maintain data distribution and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability
• Conduct regular disaster recovery testing
• Investigate and resolve database performance and capacity issues
• Monitor and maintain database security
• Communicate effectively with the cross-functional teams to address their needs
• Keep the data warehouse and your work organized
• Create API connections and scope new integrations
• Perform other related duties as assigned
