Chief Revenue Officer

We are seeking a Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) with substantial experience in expanding into new sales channels and executing on a strategy to drive sales growth at retailers both in store and online. The CRO will be tasked with steering our strategic product placement and identifying and creating new revenue streams particularly in the home/furniture channels. This role is seeking a leader possessing insights into growing sales with new B2B strategies, channel creation and new go-to-market strategies.

The candidate, ideally, also has experience with growing sales of licensed products into hospitality / home / office furniture channels on a B2C and / or B2B level. The candidate should exhibit a history of spearheading innovative initiatives, strategic vision, operational excellence, and an ability to galvanize teams towards achieving outstanding outcomes. The main focus of the position will be to expand the existing revenue streams as well as create new partnerships within the furniture and home stores (B2C) and to build out a new B2B channel focusing on selling to the hospitality sector (hotels, cruises, doctors’ offices, restaurants, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Innovation: Chart out and execute comprehensive strategies for e-commerce expansion, and channel optimization. Including B2B and home/furniture retail channels. Experience in growing sales and expanding a portfolio of licensed products is preferred.

Business Development: Guide the business development and introduction of groundbreaking collaborations, ensuring alignment with our brand and market demand.

Home/Furniture Retail & B2B Channel Management: Oversee retail and channel strategies across national, e-tail, and regional retailers, ensuring optimal positioning and performance of our product lines.

Market Analysis & Consumer Insights: Continually assess market trends, consumer behaviors, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Team Leadership & Development: Inspire a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence within a multidisciplinary team.

Reporting: Overseeing reporting and analysis to other key members of Management.

Key projects:

  • Build B2B program for furniture and home, work on building a program for interior designer’s etc.
  • Source and build partnership with the likes of IKEA.
  • Explore Airbnb / hotel / restaurant / cruise ships / office furniture B2B opportunities.
  • Identify new revenue channels and complimentary licenses to drive growth.
  • Identify new and complimentary products among the Company’s existing licenses.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience in the Home and Furniture retail space, with extensive expertise in digital and revenue stream creation.
  • Deep understanding and experience in logistics and operations management for consumer electronics and licensed products selling into big box retailers.
  • Strategic vision with the ability to identify market opportunities to expand into new sales channels.
  • Self-starter with exceptional leadership, communication, and team-building skills, who is results-oriented with a desire to drive value through growing sales and leading the expansion into new channels.
