Lead Software Engineer for Customer Data Platform at Grab, a leading superapp in Southeast Asia. The role involves leading an engineering team with diverse technical stacks and developing scalable real-time data pipelines and architecture. The platform is used for online serving, ML models, segmentation, and real-time targeting to power personalization use cases across the company.
Requirements
- Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related undergraduate degree.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in Software Engineering with well-proven track record of leading an engineering team with diverse skillsets.
- Proficient in at least one of the following programing languages: Python, Go, or Scala
- Experience developing large-scale backend systems and has good understanding of technical trade offs and evaluations needed to allow high load, low latency systems, while maintaining system reliability and cost efficiency.
- Experience building APIs, working with OLTP DBs, and operating in a distributed systems environment.
- Strong English communications with prior work experience in regional and global environment
