Grab Financial Services is seeking a Senior Data Scientist (Analytics) to support the Lending tech family in understanding user experiences and partnering with Business, Product, Design, and Tech teams to achieve the right outcomes. The role involves using data to understand user needs, unveiling insights to help launch, improve and scale products, and championing data-driven decision-making within GFin.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Data Science in a Tech (FinTech or E-Commerce) company
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Proficient in writing advanced SQL queries and querying large relational databases
  • Hands-on experience with data analysis and programming tools such as Python
  • Skilled in data visualisation platforms like PowerBI or D3.js to present findings
  • Experience designing, running, and analysing A/B tests and product experiments, with knowledge of hypothesis testing and the basic principles of Design of Experiments (DoE)
