Grab is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to lead the Customer Data Platform team, responsible for building scalable onboarding of user data and improving serving capabilities. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in software engineering, leadership experience, and proficiency in languages such as Python, Go, or Scala.
Requirements
- Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related undergraduate degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Software Engineering with experience leading an engineering team with diverse skillsets
- Proficient or willing to learn one of the following programing languages: Python, Go, or Scala
- Experience developing large-scale backend systems and has good understanding of technical trade offs and evaluations needed to allow high load, low latency systems, while maintaining system reliability and cost efficiency
- Experience building APIs, working with OLTP DBs, and operating in a distributed systems environment
