Bioinformatics Staff Data Scientist # 4768

We are seeking a Staff Data Scientist to join the Computational Biology team at GRAIL, a healthcare company pioneering new technologies to advance early cancer detection. The role will involve working with population-scale genomic datasets to develop novel methods and tools for monitoring the output of a multi-cancer classifier, and defining parameters for high-level classifier performance over time.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Data Science, Computational Biology, Physics, Bioengineering, Cancer Genomics, Statistics, Biochemistry, or a related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Proven track record in working with large-scale omics datasets in R (preferred) or Python
• Experience with NGS data processing, statistical modeling, and machine learning frameworks
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
