Growing to possess one of the largest gig-driver networks in the mobility industry has enabled Gridwise to amass the most comprehensive gig mobility dataset in the industry and capitalize on a $50B data-as-a-service opportunity through Gridwise Analytics.

Gridwise is on its way to becoming the de facto operating platform for gig drivers and offer solutions that empower the entire ecosystem with solutions built to improve the way people and goods move.

The role:

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager your primary focus will be to communicate the value of our app to various user segments across all stages of their lifecycle. You will be responsible for using marketing tools to surface to users their unique value props in the app to fit their unique use cases. You will report directly to the Head of Growth and will work very closely with all members of the growth, product, and design teams. You will devise and launch go-to-market strategies for all product launches, collect and funnel customer feedback to product team for future improvements, and support product team in building out product roadmap.

As the Senior Product Marketing Manager you will share responsibilities for user activation, retention, and monetization with other growth stakeholders. You will develop user personas and journeys to better understand user behavior to help facilitate A/B experimentation to optimize conversion.

A successful candidate will be an experienced and innovative product marketer who has appreciation for data-driven decision making, cross-functional collaboration, and has a customer-first mindset. The Senior Product Marketing Manager should constantly be thinking about how to effectively communicate the value that has been created by the app to better the lives of our users.

What you’re responsible for…

  • Develop product positioning and messaging to effectively communicate value of the app to various user segments to enable effective app adoption and user engagement
  • Develop go-to-market strategy for new product feature launches, optimize communication strategy for existing product features, and collaborate with product teams to support future product feature roadmap
  • Oversee collection and synthesizing of customer feedback post launches to close the feedback loop; conduct additional growth experiments or provide recommendations to product team for future iterations of the feature
  • Work closely with the Digital Marketer to optimize user landing page experience; work closely with product team and designers to engage feature flagging techniques to improve user activation and retention activities
  • Be an evangelist for the app and always be thinking about how to do a better job of portraying the value of our services to our users
  • Drive customer and competitive insights to empower various stakeholders across the company with information needed to make better product and business decisions
  • Build and own experimentation pipeline based on hypotheses drawn from insights with the intent to optimize activation, retention, and monetization conversion events

What we’re looking for…

  • 5-7 years of relevant product marketing experience at an early stage, app-first, B2C company
  • Experience working with various stakeholders, including product, engineering, and marketing channel owners to develop a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to sell B2C products/features to various segments of customers
  • Experience building user personas and journeys to develop an acute understanding of the customer and their app engagement process to further optimize in app conversion
  • Extensive experience conducting user research to drive insights and better understand customer behaviors
  • Experience using data visualization tools such as Looker or Mixpanel, website optimization tool such as Hotjar, and mobile/web product AB testing tools such as VWO, Split.io, or Taplytics
  • Strong project management skills driving cross-functional projects and initiatives
  • Demonstrated experience in data driven decision making, strategic problem solving with a bias towards action
