Data Analyst – Databricks

As a Data Analyst on the Defense & Security AI & Data team, you will help clients maximize the value of their data and automate business processes. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and strong communication skills to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, troubleshoot job failures, and implement CI/CD practices.

Requirements

• Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DHS Public Trust
• Bachelors Degree
• ONE (1) or more years of experience in data analyst, data engineering or business analysis
• Experience with Databricks
• Ability to identify and address client needs, build relationships, design and implement solutions
• Strong communication and presentation skills and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences
• Familiarity with cloud-based analytics environments (such as, Databricks, Palantir, AWS, Azure, or Google)
• Experience performing analytics and data transformation using Python
• Proficiency in querying data using SQL and experience optimizing SQL query performance for large datasets
• Ability to gather requirements and present to clients with strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with Python, R or other modern scripting languages used in analytics
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and tools for data integration, such as: Databricks, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server tools (SSIS, SSMS, SSAS, SSRS), Azure Synapse Analytics
