Staff People Business Partner, Growth and G&A

Hazel Health & Little Otter is seeking a Staff People Business Partner to support their Growth and G&A functions. This role will serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, focusing on building strong teams, scaling organizational structures, and ensuring alignment with business goals. The position involves coaching managers, refining performance systems, and driving data-driven decisions to improve performance and foster a high-trust culture.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years of People/HR experience
• 3+ years as a People Business Partner in high-growth tech/startup environments
• Experience supporting GTM, Marketing, or G&A orgs (Finance, Legal, Corp Dev, BizOps)
• Strong business acumen and comfort working closely with executives
• Bias for clarity, action, and systems thinking
• Deep empathy and emotional intelligence
• Ability to navigate ambiguity
• Data- and feedback-driven approach
• Experience at high-performing orgs like Meta, Stripe, Uber, or rapid-scaling environments
