Account Executive

Role Overview

WXII, the NBC affiliate in Winston-Salem, NC, is looking for an Account Executive to sell advertising to local businesses and negotiate impressions and rates with ad agencies.

What You Will Do

Produce revenue across all available platforms, prospect and contact new businesses, develop new revenue through local business development, and manage an active account/client list.

Requirements

• 1+ years in media or digital sales, or similar sales field
• Experience with the development of new business/non-traditional business
• Have strong negotiation skills

• Must be a team player
• Experience selling to business owners
• Understand and use qualitative research to further sales effort
