Senior Financial Analyst

Hearst Television is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, providing financial reporting, analysis, and strategic decision support in a fast-paced corporate environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative/analytical discipline (e.g. Accounting/ Finance, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of financial analysis experience in a corporate environment
• Advanced analytical skills with experience developing and maintaining business intelligence and data visualization tools
• Working knowledge of accrual-based accounting principles (GAAP) preferred
• Hands on experience with SmartView/Essbase and ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP
• Advance proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; strong working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications
• Media industry experience preferred
