Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our Data and Insights team in a 12 months Fixed Term Contract.

Requirements

  • Liaise with business departments to evaluate and determine data needs and requirements.
  • Apply technical and analytical skills to solutions to improve PFB reporting, advanced analytics, and data insights.
  • Work with Business Intelligence Analysts, Data Base Administrators, Business Analysts, IT and other key stakeholders to maintain, organise and improve data warehouse solutions.
  • Maintain effective commercial relationships with external service providers to deliver optimal data management and reporting outcomes for the business.
  • Engineer & model curated Data Warehouse solutions to support BI objectives and timeframes in relation to the development of key analytics and metrics
  • Partner with technical teams to build maturity and capability in relation to implementing data capture, ETL, validation, and test methods
  • Participate in an on-call support roster to help monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the Data and Insights platform, ensuring high availability and reliability of critical data services.
  • Maintain and assist in data model documentation, data dictionary, data flow, data mapping and other MDM and Data Governance documentation
