We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and enhance and optimize existing data processing pipelines and engineering solutions within the Microsoft Azure environment. You will leverage modern programming languages like Scala and technologies like Spark to process, transform, and manage our clients’ data.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Data Engineer with a strong programming background
- Comfortable with Spark
- Strong professional experience with Scala or Java
- Experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem, specifically including Azure Synapse, Fabric, and MSSQL
- Comfortable orchestration concepts like working with dbt or with Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker
- Familiarity with data analytics and reporting from a business standpoint and comfortable setting up tables and views for PowerBi querying
- Self motivated and with solid time management skills.
- Team player who enjoys working with other developers, data analysts, data scientists, and business users.
- Excellent communication skills (English).
- A sense of humor.
