Position Summary
We are seeking a high-impact Senior Director of Sales Operations for APAC to lead operational planning, forecasting, and execution excellence across our regional sales organization. This role will act as a critical business partner to regional leadership and global sales operations, helping to optimize go-to-market efficiency and drive data-informed strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate brings a strong track record in enterprise technology, experience with complex international sales organizations, and the ability to lead both strategy and execution with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
This position plays a key role in supporting our transformation from a traditional enterprise storage vendor to a next-generation hybrid cloud and services provider.

Key Responsibilities
- Regional Sales Operations Leadership: Own and manage the APAC sales operations function, including GTM planning, sales forecasting, quota deployment, operational cadence, and executive reporting.
- Forecasting & Planning: Lead the sales forecasting process with high accuracy; drive account and territory planning aligned with company growth objectives and resource capacity.
- Business Partnering: Serve as the operational advisor to APAC sales leadership and a key liaison to Finance, HR, Marketing, and Product to ensure end-to-end alignment.
- Data & Insights Enablement: Drive regional adoption of global BI tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Forecast 360, Rep 360) to support data-driven decision-making and sales performance management.
- Deal Desk Oversight: Oversee (dotted line) deal desk operations, pricing governance, and approvals to support sales agility and compliance.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a small, high-performing regional Sales Operations team, promoting a culture of excellence, agility, and development.
- Operational Rhythm: Drive consistency in business cadence across forecasting, QBRs, pipeline reviews, and performance management.
- Process Optimization: Partner with global Centers of Excellence to improve operational processes, leverage shared services, and deliver regional efficiencies.
- Local GTM Representation: Ensure regional sales plans and operational decisions reflect the unique market dynamics of APAC while aligning with global strategy, systems, and governance frameworks.

Required Qualifications
- 10–15 years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, or Strategic Planning roles within enterprise B2B technology companies, preferably in storage, infrastructure, or SaaS.
- Demonstrated experience leading regional operations across diverse APAC markets.
- Proven track record in forecasting, GTM planning, quota design, and analytics platforms.
- Hands-on experience managing a lean, high-impact team while collaborating across functions and geographies.
- Strong command of CRM and BI tools (e.g., Salesforce, Power BI, Tableau) with the ability to turn data into executive-ready insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or equivalent experience is preferred.

- Experience working for or supporting enterprise storage, hybrid cloud, or infrastructure software vendors.
- Background in transforming sales organizations, particularly through geo-to-segment GTM shifts or other structural changes.
- Familiarity with shared service centers or offshore operational hubs.
