We’re looking for a skilled and passionate marketer to grow our brand awareness. As a Marketing Associate at Hivemind Capital, you will help us to communicate and execute on key strategic initiatives for the company. This role provides the opportunity to help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, curious, takes initiative, is energized by new challenges and is interested in blockchain technology and digital assets.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create relevant, engaging content, and manage the company website and all social media accounts
- Assist in the formulation of strategies to build a lasting digital connection with our audience
- Measure performance of digital marketing efforts using a variety of Web analytics tools (Google Analytics, WebTrends etc.)
- Write initial drafts of all press releases
- Work with and manage all external marketing agency relationships
- Plan, organize, and execute events at both a local level and at larger crypto conferences in order to ensure a consistent and exciting presence for Hivemind Capital
- Create high quality presentations and pitch decks
- Support, advise, and work with portfolio companies on their marketing strategies to ensure effective growth
Required:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing at a crypto firm, VC, or similar
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
- Experience in creative content writing in the B2B space
- Stong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to execute under pressure and within tight timelines while juggling multiple projects
- Strong people skills, with a focus on collaboration and ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Local to the NY area
Preferred:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and DocuSign
- Demonstrated interest, activity, and engagement with the crypto ecosystem

Compensation: The expected base salary for this New York based position ranges from $60k – $90k. The actual base salary will be determined on an individual basis taking into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, relevant certifications, skills, and geographic location.
