Hog Buyer/Account Manager responsible for procuring hogs, building relationships with suppliers, and managing contracts.
Requirements
- Procure hogs for 5 plants using open market, agreement and contracts
- Build and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers
- Assist schedulers in moving hogs when and where needed
- Work with suppliers on projections, welfare, risk management, segregation/premium programs, etc.
- Attend industry meetings/conferences as needed
- Assist in execution and management of contracts and agreements
