Role Overview
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving business growth by developing strategic relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and managing dealer relationships. This role is responsible for the acquisition of new business by developing and executing the Region’s insurance growth objectives through Dealer conversion to the branded F&I product, program, and deal structures. The Business Development Manager will utilize consultative selling skills to educate, motivate, and train new and existing Hyundai/Kia/Genesis dealers in their assigned district by utilizing HCA’s retail, lease, CPO, and Commercial Financing Programs to achieve annual sales objectives and profitability goals.
What You Will Do
The Business Development Manager will attain HCA business goals within an assigned territory by promoting HCA programs to stimulate dealer utilization of HCA products and services. This includes standard penetration, subvened penetration, lease penetration, CPO/used penetration/funding’s, LSA activity, eContracting, customer loyalty, and LEAD’s. The Business Development Manager will also collaborate with the sales and product design team to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.

Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships
- Proactive, organized, and handle work under stressful and uncertain environments
- Strong understanding of company products and services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive
